A Simple Plan

No time to obsess about hair appointments, trial runs, and makeup applications?
We’ve laid it all out for you in a stress-free guide to mapping out your pre-wedding hair and makeup needs.

 

12 weeks before: 

  •  To minimize stress as your wedding approaches, pre-book your appointment for hair color or highlights to ensure gorgeous hair for pre-wedding parties and showers. This would also apply to your mother and mother-in-law.
  • Pre-book your trial up-style and make-up appointments. If you are planning to have bridal portraits made, this would be the perfect day for your trial run.
  • Pre-book all wedding day appointments—this will include the bride, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom.


8 weeks before:  

  • We suggest that at this time, you have an accurate head count of all wedding party members, family, or guests who will be receiving salon services at Accent on Hair on the wedding day. Finalize any appointments to ensure that we have reserved sufficient time for each guest.
  • To ensure that your stylist knows exactly what you want for your wedding day, come in for a practice run on your up-style and make-up.


2 weeks before:  

  • Come in for your final color or highlight appointment.  We suggest, however, that you do not try a drastic change this close to the wedding. You may want to consider having a complimentary chemistry system treatment to make your hair shiny and healthy for your special day.
  • Give a final confirmation of the number of people booked for hair and make-up services for the wedding day.


Wedding Day:  

  • Arrive at the salon for your appointment with clean, dry hair.
  • Have your up-style created and make-up applied.
  • Photographers are welcome to meet you at the salon and take pictures.
  • Remember to bring your veil if you would like for us to place it for you.

 POLICIES & PRICING

  • We require a $75 deposit to secure your desired date and time.  (Deposit is only refundable if you cancel 2 weeks before).
  • Deposits are nonrefundable if any bridesmaids should decide on the wedding day to not come for the appointment time that is reserved for them.
  • Up-style service prices are based on time and degree of difficulty. Starting at $35 and up.
  • Make-up services are available as well for $25 per application.
  • A brunch will be served at no additional charge if the bridal party contains 6 or more, including the bride.
